TANKO GYANG

PRESIDENT

Engineer Craft Tanko Gyang is one of the most dedicated members of Nigerian Association of Engineering Craftsmen, NAEC. He joined the association in 2006 and showing his promises from the onset, he was immediately elected as Treasurer of the Kano Branch.

Soon after he was elected as the National technical Secretary of the association, a position which saw his years as a seasoned engineering practitioner bear positive signs in that department.

In 2011, Tanko Gyang was freely and fairly elected as the Vice President of NAEC and in 2016, he attained the pinnacle of the association's organizational chart with his election as the National President of NAEC, a position he still holds till date.

AUGUSTINE AGWUIBE

1ST VICE PRESIDENT

Engineer Craft Augustine Agwuibe studied civil engineering at the Polytechnic Ibadan and building technology at the Delta state university.

Since his admission as a NAEC member in 2000, he has served in several executive capacities including Co-ordinator/state chairman of Delta state chapter for ten (10) years and the National Financial Secretary from 2011 - 2016.

Augustine Agwuibe is a Fellow of NAEC.

SALISU .H. ADEWALE

2ND VICE PRESIDENT

Engineer Craft Salisu Harfiz Adewale became a member of NAEC in 1998 and served as the National Technical Secretary of NAEC from 2001 - 2004 then as its National General Secretary from 2004 - 2007.

Salisu Harfiz Adewale, a Fellow of the association, also served as the Chairman, National Career Counselling on Engineering from 2000 - 2009.

AMOS ABENI

NATIONAL SECRETARY

Engineer Craft Amos Abeni earned his Higher National Diploma in Business Administration from Fidei Polytechnic, Gboko.

Amos Abeni was the Chairman of the Abuja Chapter of NAEC before his election as the National Secretary of the association in 2016.

He has contributed immensely to the growth of technology in Nigeria including been the founder of Professional Plumbers Association Abuja Inc., founder/MD/CEO of Artisans Skills Empowerment Initiative (ASEI), a non-govermental organization which trains artisans and craftsmen as well as empowering youths with profitable construction skills' trade.

Amos Abeni is the MD of Beni Global Engineering Techniques Limited and founder Beni Techniques Nigeria Enterprises.

ABDULLAHI DANLADI

NATIONAL ASSISTANT SECRETARY

Engineer Craft Abdullahi Danladi joined NAEC in 2005 and became the unit contact person in Lokoja in the same year.

He was elected the Plateau state Exco member from 2006-2007 then its secretary from 2008 - 2011 and state vice chairman from 2011 to 2016.

Abdullahi Danladi was awarded a fellowship in 2013.

ADEMUYIWA EMMANUEL

TREASURER

Engineer Craft Ademuyiwa Emmanuel joined NAEC in 2001. He was then elected Ogun state zonal chairman in that same year, a position he held until 2008.

In 2009, he was elected as Ogun state chairman up until 2016 when he was elected as the National Treasurer.

ABUBAKAR LAWAL DUTSINMA

FINANCIAL SECRETARY

Engineer Craft Abubakar Lawal Dutsinma became a registered NAEC member in 1999 and was among the first ten (10) members to be awarded a Fellowship.

His first executive position was in 1999 as the Katsina state secretary then acting chairman from 2002-2004 and chairman from 2004-2010.

Abubakar Lawal Dutsinma was elected as National Editor-in-chief in 2010, a position he held until 2016 when he was elected as the Financial Secretary.

Some of his accomplishments includes soliciting for state chapters to be allowed to conduct interviews at state levels.

OKONKWO .C. PIUS

AUDITOR

Engineer Craft Okonkwo Pius became a registered member of NAEC in the year 2000.

In that same year, he was elected as the Secretary of the Anambra state chapter a position he held for the next ten (10) years.

From 2010 up until 2016, he served as the elected chairman of the Anambra state chapter.

Okonkwo Pius became the National Internal Auditor of the association in 2016.

He is currently a staff of the Works Services, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka Anambra state and a fully registered COREN member.

IGONI .G. MESHACH

NATIONAL PUBLICITY SECRETARY

Engineer Craft Meshach Igoni is a graduate of Electrical/Electronics Engineering and a one-time NAEC Publicity Secretary of Rivers State University then Publicity Secretary of the River State Chapter. He was also the National Workshop Co-ordinator on Engineering Equipments maintenance, NSE (Port Harcourt), state co-ordinator of Bayelsa State and later Chairman, Bayelsa State Chapter from 2004 - 2011.

Other positions formerly held by Meshach Igoni includes COREN ERM Inspector (National), Secretary Central conference planning committee on several AGM in Bayelsa and Abeokuta, and representative of the National President on several events.

Meshach Igoni is a senior staff of Niger Delta University, Bayelsa, a Real Estate consultant, Political Analyst, Socialite, and Financial Ambassador.

IGWE AUGUSTINE UNAH

EDITOR

Engr. Craft Igwe Augustine Unah enrolled as a member of NAEC in 2003 and became a fellow in 2006.

He was elected as the NAEC General Secretary in 2008 up until 2010 then elected as the association's Editor-In-Chief in 2016.

Igwe Augustine holds a Ph.D in Electrical/Electronics Technology from University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He is a Chief Lecturer at Federal College of Education (Technical) Akoka and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Global Industrial and Educational Consult, Akoka, Lagos

An author of several books including in topics like electrical technology and entrepreneurship, He is also a member of COREN, NATT, and ICA.

ADEOTI ADEROTIMI

TECHNICAL SECRETARY

Engineer Craft Adeoti Aderotimi is a graduate of Electrical/Electronics Engineering from the University of Ado, Ado-Ekiti and also holds a Master's degree in Industrial Technical education, Electrical/Electronics from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

He became a certified member of NAEC in 2004 and has served as Publicity Secretary, Assistant General Secretary, General Secretary, Vice-Chairman, and Chairman of the Ondo State Chapter from the periods 2004 - 2016.

Adeoti Aderotimi, a fellow of NAEC, has been the National Technical Secretary of the association from 2016 and also a COREN ERM Inspector.
